Forth Governance Token (FORTH)

FORTH is an ERC-20 governance token used to manage the Ampleforth ecosystem via the FORTH DAO.

There are some particularly powerful abilities held by the FORTH DAO and subsequent FORTH voters, namely setting monetary policy (i.e., tranching ratio changes, FORTH token inflation, etc.), voting on improvement proposals, and approving liquidity initiatives.

The FORTH DAO treasury holds just over $30 million, making it a sizable treasury. This liquidity can be utilized in many ways, such as refreshing geyser initiatives or providing grants to ecosystem startups like the on Poolside. The FORTH token has a fixed supply of 15 million tokens, though the FORTH DAO can choose to increase the max supply by an inflation rate no higher than 2% annually should it garner enough support.
